Listed below is collection of community resources organized by geographic areas served to help advocates identify services and supports that may be relevant to the children and families they serve. In foster care cases and other certain cases, advocates should share potentially relevant resources with DSS and the GAL as recommendations or considerations for the case team, rather than making direct referrals on behalf of the family. Advocates should avoid contacting or referring families directly to service providers unless specifically authorized to do so through their established program procedures. As always, consult your supervisor if needed.
